[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 3rd that it has prepared support measures to defer payment billing for up to 6 months for customers and merchants affected by Typhoon Maysak.
Customers and merchants of BC Card who suffered damage from the recent Typhoon Maysak can apply for a billing deferral of up to 6 months on payments due in September or October, including lump-sum payments, installments, and short-term card loans (cash services).
Applications for billing deferral can be made through the BC Card call center by September 23, after obtaining a damage confirmation certificate from the relevant local government office.
This billing deferral applies to BC Card member companies including Woori Card, IBK Industrial Bank, SC First Bank, Hana Card (BC), DGB Daegu Bank, BNK Busan Bank, and BNK Gyeongnam Bank.
