[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 2nd, Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that Mr. A, a public official in his 30s belonging to the Ojeong-dong Administrative Welfare Center, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). As a result, the Ojeong-dong Administrative Welfare Center was closed.
Mr. A showed symptoms such as fever and cough starting the day before. He is known to belong to the Civil Complaints and Sanitation Division and had recently been mainly engaged in enforcement work related to quarantine.
According to the quarantine authorities' investigation, Mr. A stated that he wore a mask continuously except when eating with other employees or drinking coffee.
