View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Sinan-gun (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced that on the morning of the 2nd at 10 a.m., an emergency countermeasure meeting was held to prepare for Typhoon Maysak, the 9th typhoon moving northward following 'Bavi' last week.
Governor Park Woo-ryang of Sinan-gun ordered prompt action to minimize typhoon damage by strengthening emergency inspections and preventive activities for frequently flooded areas and disaster-vulnerable facilities.
As the entire country is expected to be under the influence of the typhoon with very strong winds and heavy rain until the 3rd, they promoted behavior guidelines during typhoon arrival, installed underwater motors in 16 houses at risk of flooding, secured roofs of 289 houses, tied down 1,201 vinyl greenhouses, hauled and secured 3,042 fishing boats on land, secured about 20,000 aquaculture facilities, completed hauling 178 floating docks exposed to strong winds onto land, removed debris from drainage gates, and pre-maintained 75 drainage and freshwater channels covering 60 km.

At the emergency countermeasure meeting, Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “Above all, I hope you do your best to prevent any casualties,” and ordered, “Since the typhoon is powerful, mobilize all administrative resources to minimize damage.”
