Safety and Health Public Agency, Girl Group 'Oh My Girl' Collaborate on Industrial Safety Campaign and Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) is launching the 'Safety (SAFE) Campaign' in collaboration with the girl group Oh My Girl to promote safety culture.
KOSHA produced a web variety show video featuring Oh My Girl members Hyojung and Seunghee experiencing safety inspections at industrial sites firsthand, as well as a safety song titled 'SAFE' that emphasizes the importance of practicing safety.
Viewers of the video are invited to participate in a dance challenge by following the stretching choreography set to the safety song.
The web variety show video on industrial site safety inspections is set against a manufacturing workplace backdrop, where hazards such as press entrapment, crane load drops, and forklift collisions are identified and safety measures are checked together with KOSHA staff.
The safety song 'SAFE' is presented in a music video format with a bright and upbeat beat, featuring easy-to-understand lyrics about the importance of safety and choreography inspired by stretching exercises, making it accessible for everyone to follow.
The dance challenge involves viewers uploading videos of themselves performing the stretching choreography to the safety song on social media, with outstanding entries selected to receive prizes.
Starting with the release of the web variety show video on the 2nd, the safety song will be unveiled on KOSHA’s website, YouTube, and social media on the 9th, followed by a making-of film showcasing the production process on the 16th.
The safety song dance challenge, involving viewer participation, will run for one month from the 10th on KOSHA’s online communication channels such as YouTube.
