Kakao Bank×Emart Savings Account, 556,000 Subscriptions Sold Out in 2 Weeks
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] KakaoBank announced on the 2nd that the '26-Week Savings With Emart' product, launched in collaboration with Emart on the 18th of last month, recorded an average of about 40,000 accounts opened per day over two weeks, totaling 556,000 accounts. Sales ended on the 31st of last month.
A KakaoBank official said, "Customer response was enthusiastic, in line with the planning intent to provide benefits beyond just interest on the savings product," adding, "We plan to explore ways to increase customer benefits in various fields including shopping through collaborations with multiple companies."
The '26-Week Savings With Emart' is a KakaoBank savings product offering up to 88,000 KRW in customer benefits, allowing customers to save money while enjoying Emart discount benefits.

KakaoBank plans to provide a shopping basket featuring 'Kakao Friends-Emart' characters to a total of 60,000 customers selected by lottery on this day. Winners will be individually notified via the mobile phone number entered at the time of subscription. Following the instructions, winners can choose an Emart branch to visit and receive their shopping bag in person.
