Jangseong-gun, Recruiting Households to Participate in the Carbon Point Program
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that it is recruiting households to participate in the Carbon Point System to encourage practical actions in daily life to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The Carbon Point System is a program that compares the average monthly energy usage (electricity, water supply, city gas) over the past two years and awards points twice a year based on the reduction rate for each energy category.
Points are given in cash or Green Card points, and currently, 4,211 households are participating in Jangseong-gun.
Registration is always possible, and the head of the household or the actual user of commercial facilities can apply by visiting the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center, the County Environmental Sanitation Division, or by accessing the Carbon Point System website.
