According to Daejeon City, as of the 31st, Shin Jeong-rak (Daejeon case number 264), who is in the second team, showed symptoms of high fever, muscle pain, and headache since the 29th, and tested positive for COVID-19 on the day of examination.
Accordingly, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) is considering suspending the Futures League games in which Shin Jeong-rak participated with the second team.
Additionally, two players recently called up from Hanwha's second team to the first team are waiting to undergo COVID-19 testing.
