According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 31st, following 6 confirmed cases the previous day, 3 more cases were confirmed and classified as numbers 372 to 374.
Case 372 is a woman in her 60s residing in Ochi-dong, Buk-gu, confirmed to be related to the Donggwangju Table Tennis Club.
Case 373 is a teenage male living in Yangsan-dong, Buk-gu, linked to the Gwanghwamun rally.
Case 374 is a woman in her 50s residing in Unnam-dong, Gwangsan-gu, who was in contact with a confirmed case from Seongbuk-gu and tested positive before the end of her self-quarantine; no additional contacts have been identified.
Earlier that day in Gwangju, 6 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19: 3 related to the Gwanghwamun rally, 1 related to the Donggwangju Table Tennis Club, 1 related to Seongnim Baptist Church, and 1 with an unknown infection route.
Meanwhile, as of 8 a.m. that day in Gwangju, 126,285 people had been tested for COVID-19. Among them, 374 were confirmed positive, and 197 were undergoing testing.
