[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Following a security guard working at Gimpo Airport testing positive for COVID-19 on the 29th, two additional individuals who had close contact with this security guard were confirmed positive on the 30th.
According to Korea Airports Corporation, two special security guards belonging to its subsidiary, Aviation Security Partners, tested positive for COVID-19 on the same day.
These employees work at checkpoints controlling vehicles entering the airport protection area (aircraft parking lot and runway). One of them reportedly worked a shift at the same checkpoint as special security guard A, who tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day.
