10 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gyeongnam... Regional Infections in Changwon, Geoje, and Others

On the 29th, Gyeongnam Province announced in a COVID-19 briefing that 10 confirmed cases were reported in the province from the afternoon of the previous day to the morning of the same day.
By region, there were 2 cases in Changwon City and 8 cases in Geoje City.
A woman in her 40s and a man in his 30s living in Changwon, who had contact with a woman confirmed positive the previous day after attending the Gwanghwamun rally on Liberation Day, were each confirmed positive.
In Geoje, additional infections occurred originating from a woman in her 60s (patient number 201) who was confirmed positive while helping with farm work.
The husband, son-in-law, and granddaughter of a woman in her 60s (patient number 220) confirmed positive the previous day in Geoje were also confirmed positive.
This increased the number of confirmed cases related to the Geoje farm to 10.
Additionally, a woman in her 60s, the spouse of a man in his 60s who was confirmed positive the previous day in Geoje, was also newly confirmed positive.
The province has determined that these individuals are not related to the Geoje farm infection.
Two women in their 50s and 60s and two men in their 60s and 70s who had a meeting with this Geoje couple on the 15th were also confirmed positive.
The total number of confirmed cases related to the Geoje couple's gathering is 6.
The confirmed patients have been or are scheduled to be transferred to Masan Medical Center and Yangsan Busan National University Hospital.
Gyeongnam Province is investigating their infection routes, movements, and contacts.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Gyeongnam Province has increased to 231.
