Comprehensive Survey of 212 Employees at Miryang Agricultural Technology Center
Survey Results: 209 Negative, 3 Retests Required
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 27th that out of 212 people including an employee of the city Agricultural Technology Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) who was confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) (Miryang case number 7), related staff, and visitors to the Center, 209 tested negative and 3 are undergoing retesting.
The city immediately set up a screening clinic in front of the Center as soon as the Center employee was confirmed positive on the morning of the 26th and collected specimens from 212 related individuals.
Among the 212 people including Center employees and visitors, 201 were tested at the walk-in screening clinic in front of the Center, and 11 were tested at the public health center screening clinic. On the morning of the 27th, 209 were confirmed negative.
The city stated that the test results for the 3 individuals undergoing retesting will be promptly announced as soon as they are available this afternoon.
