Ha Tae-kyung: "Government Should Exclude Political Logic and Consider 'Level 3 Social Distancing'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, stated on the 27th, "The government should exclude political logic and actively accept the opinions of quarantine authorities and experts to consider implementing Level 3 social distancing."
On the same day, Ha said on Facebook, "Quarantine experts are actively recommending Level 3 social distancing to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)," adding, "The quarantine authorities are also deliberating carefully. The decision to raise the social distancing level must be made strictly from the perspective of quarantine."
Ha pointed out, "The spread of COVID-19, centered in the metropolitan area, is expanding nationwide. For more than ten days, there have been over 200 confirmed cases daily, and today there were 441 cases. Asymptomatic and undetected cases are also increasing significantly," and added, "New cluster infections are spreading beyond churches and door-to-door sales businesses to travel groups, clubs, bathhouses, restaurants, hair salons, and society at large. Even the National Assembly, the Blue House, and government offices have reported confirmed cases."
