[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] One additional COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Gwangju, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the region to 285.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 25th, a resident of Yongyeon-dong, Dong-gu was diagnosed with COVID-19 and classified as Gwangju case number 285.
The route of infection has not been identified.
Health authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations to determine the initial infection route and movement paths.
Since the 12th, 69 confirmed cases have been reported in the Gwangju area. Among them, 61 are local infections and 8 are overseas arrivals.
