According to Mokpo Maritime Police on the 23rd, Officer K, a resident of Muan, came into contact with one confirmed case at a bowling alley in Gwangju on the 20th and was immediately quarantined.
Officer K was notified of a positive COVID-19 test result by the Shinan County health authorities around 9 a.m. on the 23rd.
The Maritime Police will conduct self-quarantine and testing for contacts based on the epidemiological investigation results from the quarantine authorities.
The police substation in Shinan where Officer K works was temporarily closed on the 22nd and disinfected, and COVID-19 tests were conducted on close contacts who worked with Officer K.
