"Sharing Male Bathhouse CCTV in Women's College Group Chat"... Police Plan Internal Investigation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] A report has been filed with the police that CCTV footage and images from a men's bathhouse were shared in a group KakaoTalk chatroom (group chat) consisting of female university students.
According to the National Police Agency on the 21st, the police recently received such a report through the Cyber Crime Counseling System (eCRM).
On the morning of the same day, posts titled "Female university group chat sharing men's bathhouse CCTV footage" appeared on far-right community sites such as Ilgan Best (Ilbe), featuring screenshots of the group chat conversations.
According to the post, one participant in the chatroom said, "My father told me to bring something, so I went into the management office and found it sitting alone on a corner monitor," and posted photos taken of the CCTV footage inside the men's bathhouse. The participants in the chatroom continued to make sexually harassing remarks about the photos. The usernames of the chatroom participants were all pixelated.

The National Police Agency is reportedly identifying the reporter's address and instructing the relevant police station to conduct an internal investigation regarding the case.
