According to Jeonbuk Province and Jeonju District Court on the 21st, Chief Judge A (40, male) of Jeonju District Court was confirmed positive for COVID-19. This is reported to be the first confirmed case of a sitting judge.
Chief Judge A visited Seoul and Gyeonggi areas from the 15th to the 16th, and stayed at his home in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, on the temporary holiday of the 17th.
He then returned to Jeonju on the 18th, and around 6 p.m. on the 19th, he experienced mild chills and fever symptoms. On the following day, the 20th, at around 3:30 p.m., a specimen was collected at Jeonju City Health Center, and he was confirmed positive at around 7:30 a.m. on the 21st.
