[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported at Samsung Electronics Giheung Campus.
According to Samsung Electronics on the 21st, office worker A, who works in the LED Technology Building at Samsung Electronics Giheung Campus, tested positive for COVID-19 early that morning.
A worked on the 18th and 19th but experienced symptoms such as fever and cough, so did not go to work on the 20th and underwent a COVID-19 test.
Samsung Electronics immediately conducted disinfection measures in the Technology Building where A worked, as well as along A’s movement paths. In addition, those classified as close contacts after the health authorities’ epidemiological investigation will be required to take COVID-19 tests.
