BDO Seongdo Ihyeon → Name Changed to 'Seonghyeon Accounting Corporation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] BDO Seongdo Ihyeon Accounting Corporation announced on the 19th that it will change its name to BDO Seonghyeon Accounting Corporation (hereinafter 'Seonghyeon') for new growth and leap forward.
The company changed its name, which had been temporarily maintained for one year after last year's merger, to strengthen its corporate image as a single firm and maximize the new brand.
The new name 'Seonghyeon' combines 'Seong (誠)' meaning sincerity and 'Hyeon (炫)' meaning bright, signifying 'completing brilliant results with sincerity and wholeheartedness.' It represents the intention to produce high-quality outcomes with both authenticity and expertise.
Seonghyeon plans to focus all efforts on talent acquisition and specialization of service lines as a stepping stone for this name change, and to accelerate the establishment of a quality management system. The company has recently recruited experts in internal accounting control systems, forensic services, and IT audit fields to enhance audit quality.
CEO Geunseo Park said, "The name change is an important milestone for advancing as a single firm," adding, "We have high expectations for the future of the new Seonghyeon Accounting Corporation, which will grow based on the long-standing management philosophy and legacy of Seongdo and Ihyeon."
