View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Jeon Hyun-hee, Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, held a mobile grievance office on the 14th in Songho-ri, Yangsan-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. This area suffered damage due to excessive discharge from Yongdam Dam in Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.
The Commission announced on the same day that it had organized an emergency mobile grievance office and deployed it to the damage site to resolve the difficulties of residents affected by the heavy rain and Yongdam Dam discharge on the 8th.
The Commission formed the emergency mobile grievance office consisting of a civil complaint counseling team and a flood damage recovery support team.
The civil complaint counseling team, composed of professional investigators, visited the damage site in Songho-ri, Yeongdong-gun, one of the affected areas, and listened to the residents' difficulties from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The flood damage recovery support team is providing assistance in the damaged area of Geumsan-gun, Chungnam.
The Commission plans to thoroughly analyze the institutional causes of the flood damage caused by the recent heavy rain and dam discharge, and if any problems are found, actively pursue institutional improvements to prevent recurrence.
Civil complaints related to flood damage caused by heavy rain and Yongdam Dam discharge can be filed through the People's Newspaper, operated by the Commission.
