Hyundai Motor Includes 'Safe Camping Site' Information in Navigation... Signs MOU with Korea Tourism Organization
On the 13th, Hyundai Motor Company and the Korea Tourism Organization signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a business partnership to promote a safe camping culture at Hyundai Motor's Yeongdong-daero headquarters. On the 13th, Hyundai Motor announced on the 14th that it held a "Business Partnership Agreement (MOU) for the Activation of Safe Camping Culture" at its headquarters on Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, attended by Jang Jae-hoon, Head of Hyundai Motor's Domestic Business Division, Ahn Young-bae, President of the Korea Tourism Organization, and other officials from both companies.
Through this agreement, the Korea Tourism Organization will provide Hyundai Motor with information on over 2,400 certified campsites currently operated on the certified campsite website "Go Camping," as well as content for safe camping.
Hyundai Motor plans to link the certified campsite information to the vehicle's navigation system and other platforms, plan various automotive lifestyle content to spread a safe camping culture, and disseminate related information through its various channels.
In addition to providing information on the use of registered certified campsites and safe camping, Hyundai Motor and the Korea Tourism Organization intend to continue cooperating to spread an "eco-friendly camping culture" that minimizes environmental damage such as waste disposal issues that have arisen with the recent rapid increase in the camping population.
Furthermore, Hyundai Motor and the Korea Tourism Organization will mutually cooperate to hold the camping festival "Earth and Me, Safe Camping" from the 28th to the 30th at Osiano Campsite (located in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do), planning events such as a talk concert themed on creating a safe camping culture and activities guiding eco-friendly camping.

A Hyundai Motor official said, "Through this business agreement, we will provide various information so that many customers can use officially registered certified campsites," adding, "Together with the Korea Tourism Organization, we will prepare diverse and substantial programs for Hyundai Motor customers interested in camping and strive to establish a 'new camping culture.'"
