"Welcome Back, Jamsugyo" Vehicle Traffic Resumes After 11 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Vehicle traffic on Jamsu Bridge, which was submerged due to heavy rain, resumed after 11 days.
According to Seoul City and the police, vehicle restrictions on Jamsu Bridge were lifted from 7:25 PM on the 13th. This was due to the water level around Jamsu Bridge dropping below the vehicle restriction threshold (6.2m). As of 9:30 PM that day, the water level at Jamsu Bridge was recorded at 5.54m.
Pedestrian traffic on Jamsu Bridge is restricted when the water level is above 5.5m, and vehicle traffic is restricted when it exceeds 6.2m. The bridge becomes submerged when the water level exceeds 6.5m.
