Yongin City Begins Repairing Agricultural Machinery for Flooded Farms... Starting from the 12th
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province has decided to support the repair of flooded agricultural machinery throughout the city, including the Wonsam and Baekam areas, which suffered significant damage from the recent heavy rains.
To this end, Yongin City began collecting agricultural machinery in the Wonsam and Baekam areas, where farmland flooding damage is relatively severe, starting from the 12th. Repairs will be supported by the city's Agricultural Technology Center and agricultural machinery repair companies (Daedong dealership in Yongin City).
Walk-behind cultivators and brush cutters will be repaired free of charge, while tractors and other agricultural machinery will only be charged for parts.
A city official explained, "Since the busy farming season for cultivating crops necessary for kimchi-making, such as cabbage and radish, begins in mid-month, we decided to expedite support for agricultural machinery repairs as quick repairs are necessary."
