Seongnam City Supports Anseong City, a Special Disaster Area, with 4 Dump Trucks
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will support Anseong City, which has been designated as a 'Special Disaster Area,' with four dump trucks (three 15-ton trucks and one 5.5-ton truck).
Seongnam City announced that from the 12th to the 17th, a total of four dump trucks will be deployed to Anseong Maegok Village (two 15-ton trucks), Seoldong Village (one 15-ton truck), and Hansil Village (one 5.5-ton truck) to assist with flood recovery work.
The city will also deliver 5 million won in flood recovery support funds to Anseong City.
Additionally, on the 15th, about 100 members of the Seongnam City Volunteer Disaster Prevention Corps (led by Jeong Jong-moon) will participate in flood recovery support activities in the Anseong area. To support their recovery efforts, the city will provide supplies including 300 bottles of ice water (500 ml), 550 pairs of gloves, and 200 masks.
Seongnam Mayor Eun Soo-mi emphasized, "Seongnam City will take the lead in providing manpower and equipment support for recovery so that the affected residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

Anseong City reported that 258 disaster victims occurred due to the recent heavy rain, with damage to 234 public facilities and 160 private facilities. In addition, flooding affected 700 hectares of farmland, and damage was reported to 111,000 livestock.
