Honda Korea Provides Emergency Support for Flood-Damaged Vehicles
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Honda Korea announced on the 11th that it will provide emergency support for vehicles damaged by flooding due to unusual heavy rains.
The support targets vehicles and motorcycles sold by Honda Korea that were damaged by flooding caused by heavy rains since the 1st of last month.
For cars, customers can receive 500,000 KRW to cover the deductible when repairing through insurance, or receive a total discount of 1,000,000 KRW when repurchasing a vehicle in conjunction with the ongoing ‘2020 Summer Promotion.’ For motorcycles damaged by flooding, a 10% discount is offered up to a repair cost limit of 1,000,000 KRW.
A Honda Korea representative stated, "We prepared this emergency support service with the hope of providing some help to Honda customers whose vehicles were damaged by flooding caused by continuous heavy rains lasting over a month,” and added, “We also hope that the nationwide damage will be restored as soon as possible.”
