Hankook Tire Donates 100 Million KRW for Heavy Rain Damage Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hankook Tire & Technology (hereinafter Hankook Tire) announced on the 11th that it has donated 100 million KRW through the Community Chest of Korea to support flood damage recovery and aid for disaster victims.
The donated funds will be delivered to the severely affected Daejeon and Chungnam regions, and will be used for the restoration of flooded households and facilities, as well as providing relief supplies to disaster victims.

In addition to the donation, Hankook Tire plans to provide manpower support through volunteer groups of employees in the Daejeon and Chungnam areas, where its production facilities and R&D centers are located, to assist with flood damage recovery and aid for disaster victims. Furthermore, a 45-seat bus will be provided to the flood recovery site in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, to facilitate smooth transportation for volunteers.
