Recovery of Heavy Rain Damage Areas and Support for Flood Victims by Affiliates
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Lotte announced on the 10th that it will provide 1 billion KRW to support flood victims affected by the heavy rains. This is to help restore communities severely damaged by the recent nationwide continuous heavy rainfall and to support the flood victims.
Lotte will donate funds for flood recovery to the Community Chest of Korea. Additionally, its affiliates have decided to provide further support tailored to the characteristics of each company.
Lotte Chemical and other Lotte chemical companies will deliver donations to the Community Chest of Korea, while Lotte distribution companies such as Seven Eleven will use their nationwide distribution networks to deliver various relief supplies to the affected areas. Lotte Confectionery has decided to donate snack products as relief supplies through the Korean Red Cross.

Meanwhile, Lotte Distribution BU signed an emergency relief business agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Disaster Relief Association in 2018.
