View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Port Authority is recruiting tenant companies for the integrated logistics cluster in the Incheon New Port hinterland complex.
The authority announced on the 10th that it will open recruitment for tenant companies targeting the remaining site (75,000㎡) of Phase 1, Zone 1 of the integrated logistics cluster to select tenants responsible for high value-added cargo processing, manufacturing, and exhibition sales.
The lease period is basically 30 years (with a maximum lease term of 50 years), and the rent is set at 1,964 KRW per square meter per month.
However, to prevent overlapping investments with the adjacent port hinterland complex, companies promoting the installation of frozen and refrigerated logistics centers within the Incheon New Port Cold Chain Cluster and corporations selected as tenants of the integrated logistics cluster within the New Port are restricted from participating.
The project site is equipped with convenient transportation infrastructure, adjacent to the Incheon New Port wharf, and is the largest among the currently developing New Port hinterland complexes.
Companies wishing to move in can submit a letter of intent to participate by the 28th and submit application documents to the Incheon Port Authority by September 21.
The authority plans to select the preferred negotiation companies in September through evaluation by an external evaluation committee composed of experts. Subsequently, after business promotion contracts, operations are expected to begin in the second half of next year.
