Macaron Taxi to Create 'Quarantine Safety Taxi' with Mbiome
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] KST Mobility, the operator of 'Macaron Taxi,' announced on the 10th that it will collaborate with 'Mbiome,' a vehicle hygiene and air care specialist company, to establish a quarantine-safe taxi service.
Mbiome started in 2014 as an in-house venture program of Hyundai Motor Company and spun off in 2019. It possesses various vehicle hygiene and air care solutions, including 'EcoCoating,' a bio-material for vehicle air conditioner air care. Recently, its technology was recognized, leading to a partnership with 'Grab,' the largest mobility company in Southeast Asia.
Through this collaboration, KST Mobility will supply Mbiome's vehicle hygiene and air care solutions to ensure that customers using Macaron Taxi can receive transportation services in a more comfortable and safe environment.
