Guri City 'Citizen Happiness Special City' Idea Contest... Until the 8th of Next Month
[Asia Economy (Guri) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province is conducting an idea contest for all citizens to realize a "Special City of Citizen Happiness."
The contest theme is "Ways to Enhance the Happiness of Guri Citizens," and submissions related to improving the quality of life for Guri citizens are welcome.
Applications will be accepted until the 8th of next month. The contest ideas will first be reviewed by the Municipal Development Research Team and then finally selected through the Guri City Administrative Coordination Committee's evaluation.
This year, the city has decided to subdivide the awards into five levels?Gold, Silver, Bronze, Encouragement, and Effort?compared to the previous three-tier system. Prize money will vary from 100,000 KRW up to a maximum of 3,000,000 KRW.
The city plans to provide a small gift certificate to all participating citizens.

Mayor Ahn Seung-nam of Guri City emphasized, "I believe that for Guri citizens to truly become a happy city, cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential. Through this contest, we will discover diverse ideas from citizens and make Guri the happiest city in the nation."
