Jung Yonghwa, director of the 5·18 Democratization Movement Archives, said, "Jeonil Building 245 is a space that experienced the pain of Gwangju citizens at the center of the 5·18 Democratization Movement uprising. Due to media suppression, reporters 'put down their pens,' but students from Deulbul Night School including Yoon Sangwon and Gwangju citizens 'asked' for the truth of the 5·18 Democratization Movement by producing and distributing various publications including the Tusae Newsletter," adding, "I hope this archive exhibition will be a time to look back on the truth that the citizens of Gwangju tried to protect."
