Gyeongnam Gimhae-si Hosts Public-Private Participatory 'Roundtable Discussion'
Discussion on Kimhae Issues Including Social Safety Agenda Development and Village Community Revitalization Measures
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] On the 7th, Gimhae City in Gyeongnam held the 'Gimhae City Regional Problem Solving Roundtable Discussion' at the Gimhae City Small and Medium Business Center in collaboration with the Regional Problem Solving Platform Gyeongnam and the Gimhae Social Innovators Network.
The discussion was held with over 50 participants, including citizens from various sectors, social innovators, and facilitators, who registered online in advance.
The attendees focused on discovering agendas by sharing opinions on topics such as cultural diversity among youth, identifying social safety issues in Gimhae City, revitalizing village communities, promoting collaboration among residents to realize a social economy, enacting youth support ordinances, and the Bonghwang-dong Festival.
Kim Hye-deok, representative of the Social Innovators Network, said, "We will strive to ensure that the roundtable discussion progresses constructively and becomes a driving force for solving regional problems in the future."
