On the 6th (local time), according to Italian local media and AFP news agency, Dan Friedkin (55), CEO of the American Friedkin Group, finalized the acquisition negotiations for AS Roma and signed the contract the previous night. The acquisition amount is reported to be 591 million euros (approximately 830.5 billion KRW).

The club also confirmed the ownership change in a statement released that day, saying, "The formal acquisition contract has been signed." The acquisition process is expected to be completed by the end of this month at the earliest. Previously, Friedkin had been negotiating the acquisition since last year with James Pallotta (62), the chairman representing the current major shareholder of AS Roma.
