On this day, the city held an international cosmetic raw material certification ceremony in the meeting room of the cosmetic raw material production facility, attended by CEO Kim Kyunghee, CEO Jung Insu, Executive Director Jung Kyungmo, Director Lee Gyeyoon, and the Planning and Management Director of the Cosmetics Support Center.
The EFfCI GMP standard, acquired by Suikei Co., Ltd., is an important certification required for supplying raw materials and ingredients in the domestic cosmetic raw material industry and the global cosmetics market.
The EFfCI GMP certification is carefully selected by Bureau Veritas in France to guarantee the quality and safety of cosmetic raw materials and to prevent issues in advance.
With this certification, all raw materials produced at the Namwon natural cosmetic raw material production facility now meet international standards, providing an opportunity to increase trust in products for client companies.
Additionally, Namwon natural cosmetics have secured a favorable position to enter the global market.

A Namwon city official said, “This certification has established a global-level production infrastructure that can be built with cosmetic raw materials and finished products,” and added, “We will actively promote infrastructure utilization projects with various companies in the cosmetics field in connection with the Cosmetics Knowledge Industry Center, scheduled to be completed in 2022.”
