KOTRA Conducts 'Origami Online Education' for Kindergarten Teachers in China

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] KOTRA, together with Jong-i Nara, will hold the "1st China K-Paper Folding Online Education School" for three days starting from the 6th in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, targeting 130 local kindergarten teachers.
Originally planned as a visit by Korean paper folding instructors to China, the event was converted into an online exchange format. Kindergarten teachers affiliated with the Huazhong Normal University’s Huasi Early Childhood Education Group, a leading local educational institution, will participate. In addition to Wuhan, the regions of Enshi, Suizhou, and Xianning are included.
This event consists of basic paper folding education and themed paper folding programs. Jeong Gyu-il, General Manager of Jong-i Nara, said, "Through paper folding experiential education, we aim to provide educational content necessary for child development," adding, "We want to help stabilize the minds and bodies of children exhausted by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19)."
