Guri-si to Host 'COVID-19 UCC Contest' Open to All Citizens
[Asia Economy (Guri) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province is holding a video UCC contest featuring everyday practices to overcome COVID-19 and stories of small happiness.
Guri City announced on the 6th that it will hold a COVID-19-related UCC contest for digital videos between 30 seconds and 5 minutes in length, without genre restrictions such as commercial CFs, promotional videos, and documentaries, until November 2.
The city will select 9 works from the submissions and award prizes: 2,000,000 KRW for 1 grand prize winner, 1,000,000 KRW each for 2 excellence award winners, 500,000 KRW each for 2 merit award winners, and 200,000 KRW each for 5 encouragement award winners.
The results will be announced on November 20, and the awards ceremony will be held in December.
Guri Mayor Ahn Seung-nam explained, "This UCC contest was planned to help citizens wisely cope with the difficult situation caused by COVID-19 and to find small happiness."
