Limited Edition '8.15 Macaron' and Collaboration with 'Leodab' for 'Baekya Kim Jwa-jin General T-Shirt' Sale
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Convenience store 7-Eleven launched various products on the 5th to commemorate the historical significance ahead of the August 15 Liberation Day.
First, the 7-Eleven ‘8.15 Macaron,’ released as a limited edition for Liberation Day, is the industry's first printed macaron. The macaron shells are decorated with the Taegeukgi pattern and patriotic messages such as ‘8.15 Liberation Day’ and ‘Cheer up, Republic of Korea!’ The ‘8.15 Macaron’ comes in three flavors: vanilla, strawberry, and Blue Hawaii.
A limited edition Oxford block set for Liberation Day was also released. The 'Independence Army Figure Set' and the 'Independence Army Harbin Incident Block,' featuring independence activists, are sold for 15,500 KRW and 47,500 KRW respectively.

The 7-Eleven 'General Kim Jwa-jin T-shirt,' launching on the 12th, is a collaboration product with the famous domestic graffiti artist Leodab, featuring the face of General Kim Jwa-jin, who led the victory at the Battle of Cheongsanri. The price is 20,000 KRW. This product is sold in limited quantities and is released in a free size suitable for both men and women.
