Guro-gu Holds 2021 Online College Entrance Exam Information Session
Available to watch by anyone from 9 AM on the 7th via the old website or YouTube... Various online lecture programs including resume writing tips and one-on-one consultations also provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) will hold the 2021 academic year college entrance early admission briefing session online to prevent COVID-19.
Unlike previous years when the briefing was held for a limited number of people in indoor spaces, Guro-gu announced on the 5th that this year, utilizing the online environment, the early admission briefing session will be conducted so that anyone who wishes can watch it.
The online college entrance early admission briefing session will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. on the 7th. You can access it through the district website or YouTube.
The lecture will be conducted by Lee Chi-woo, Director of Admissions Evaluation at Visang Education. He will explain the analysis of the 2020 first half CSAT mock test results, the 2021 academic year university-specific early admission guidelines, and major university application strategies.
Participants can leave comments with their impressions after watching the video either at the bottom of the bulletin board on the district office website or on YouTube. The materials can be downloaded from the district website starting on the 7th.
In addition, Guro-gu operates various support programs to prepare for early admission, including self-introduction letter writing, individual counseling, special lectures on essay writing, and interview preparation. Special lectures on self-introduction letter writing and one-on-one counseling are available until the 13th, intensive individual counseling for university admission until the 17th, essay special lectures until the 19th, and online lectures for interview theory and practical mock interviews will be recruited from September 1 to 23.
For each program, the essay special lectures will accept 20 students each for humanities and mathematics, and other programs will accept 100 examinees on a first-come, first-served basis. The essay special lectures will be conducted face-to-face, while other programs will be held online.

A Guro-gu official said, “It is more important than anything to establish strategies that fit the complex admission system,” and added, “Although there are many restrictions on conducting lectures due to COVID-19, we will do our best to support local examinees’ entrance exam preparation by utilizing various methods such as online.”
