Pearl Abyss Obtains Information Security Management System Certification for 'Black Desert'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Pearl Abyss announced on the 4th that it has obtained the 'Information Security Management System (ISMS)' certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
The ISMS certification is granted only after passing 80 certification criteria, including 16 items in 4 areas of 'management system establishment and operation' and 64 items in 12 areas of 'protection requirements.'
KISA evaluates whether the information security system established, managed, and operated to protect a company's key information assets complies with domestic standards.
Pearl Abyss received certification for the 'Black Desert Game Service,' which is applied across all platforms including Black Desert PC, mobile, and console.
By obtaining the ISMS certification, Pearl Abyss secured the stability of the Black Desert service by objectively evaluating and proving its information security system.
