NongHyup Bank Offers COVID-19 Hero Loans with Preferred Interest Rate Support up to 1.40%p

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] NH Nonghyup Bank launched the 'NH Daehanminguk Hero Loan' on the 4th, offering preferential loan limits and interest rates to medical institution workers, public officials, licensed pharmacists, and working moms who are dedicated to overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.
The 'NH Daehanminguk Hero Loan' provides a crisis-overcoming gratitude preferential rate of 0.30%p to all loan applicants. Additionally, it offers an extra COVID-19 hero preferential interest rate of 0.20%p, providing up to a maximum preferential rate of 1.40%p, to the following: doctors, pharmacists, nurses, medical technicians, and hospital staff who are currently employed or have been dispatched to National Safe Hospitals, COVID-19 severe emergency treatment centers, and testing institutions; public officials under the Ministry of Health and Welfare; police and fire officials; licensed pharmacists who sold public masks; and working moms with children born after January 1, 2008.
The loan limit is up to 50 million KRW per individual. The loan interest rate is as low as 1.76% (as of August 3, based on credit rating grade 1, one-year lump-sum repayment, with a preferential interest rate of 1.40%p applied). The loan period is one year for lump-sum repayment and overdraft accounts (with possible extension), and up to five years for installment repayment, with no prepayment penalty. The loan will be temporarily offered up to a total of 300 billion KRW until December 31, 2020.
