Emart24, Largest Ever Bottled Water Discount Event in Hot August
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Emart24 is holding the largest-ever water discount event in August, the month with the highest annual bottled water sales.
Emart24 announced on the 4th that it will run buy 1 get 1 free and buy 2 get 1 free promotions on 9 types of bottled water throughout August.
For five small-sized bottled waters (500ml or less) including Samdasoo, Icis, Pyeongchang Water, Aquaforet, and Mongbest, a buy 1 get 1 free promotion will be held. For large-sized bottled waters such as Icis (2L) and Baeksansu (2L), as well as Evian 500ml and Baeksansu 500ml, a buy 2 get 1 free promotion will be offered.
Additionally, Emart24’s private label bottled water ‘Haruiliter (500ml)’ will be offered at a 50% discount when purchasing two with Shinsegae Points. This means customers can buy two bottles at the price of one (600 won) based on the regular price.
Following last month’s incident of water pipe larvae in the Incheon area, Emart24 expects more customers to purchase bottled water at convenience stores than in previous years, so they have expanded the discounted bottled water items for this event.
Lee Jung-woong, team leader of Emart24’s Daily Team, said, “We planned the largest-ever event so that customers can purchase bottled water without burden,” and added, “We will continue to introduce various events to enhance customer satisfaction.”
