Job Openings from 53 Financial Companies in One Place... Online Interview Top Performers Exempted from Document Screening
Online Job Fair Held by Six Financial Associations and Others
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] A joint recruitment fair for financial companies will be held online.
Six associations including the Korea Federation of Banks, Korea Financial Investment Association, Korea Life Insurance Association, Korea Non-Life Insurance Association, Korea Credit Finance Association, and Korea Federation of Savings Banks announced that, under the sponsorship of the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service, the "2020 Online Joint Financial Sector Recruitment Fair" will be held for three days from the 26th to the 28th.
The fair will feature participation from 53 financial institutions and companies such as commercial banks, financial public enterprises, securities firms, savings banks, and insurance companies.
Now in its fourth edition since 2017, this fair is expected to become an experiential venue offering various non-face-to-face recruitment programs such as artificial intelligence (AI) competency tests and non-face-to-face video interviews, in line with the growing trend of untact recruitment.
Additionally, an integrated online recruitment information center for each company will be operated to expand communication between financial sector companies and job seekers. Various programs are prepared, including live recruitment briefings where HR managers from each company will discuss the second half recruitment process and conduct real-time Q&A sessions, and talk concerts where employees with 1 to 5 years of experience share their know-how on getting a job in the financial sector.
IBK Industrial Bank, NH Nonghyup Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Hana Bank, and KB Kookmin Bank plan to conduct non-face-to-face interviews on the 26th and 27th for about 2,300 candidates who excel in the AI competency test, and outstanding interviewees will be granted exemption from the first document screening in the second half public recruitment.
