[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 2nd that, as citizens' interest in barefoot walking has recently increased, it has selected the 'Barefoot Road 8 Selections' including major urban forests and waterfront spaces to create a better environment.
The 'Barefoot Road 8 Selections' consist of urban forests such as ▲Songdo Pine Forest ▲Haedo Urban Forest ▲Heunghae Bukcheon Water ▲Gigae Western Forest, and waterfront spaces such as ▲Yeongildae Beach ▲Heunghae Yonghan-ri Beach ▲Hyeongsan River Riverside ▲Oeoji Trail.
On the 1st, Pohang City held a '100,000 Steps Barefoot Walking Project' launch ceremony at the Hyeongsan River Rose Garden to encourage citizens' interest in barefoot walking and promote the 'Barefoot Road 8 Selections.' At the event organized by the Barefoot School Pohang Branch and Pohang Walking Association, citizens enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Pohang, which is transforming into a green city.
