One Confirmed COVID-19 Case Among Uzbekistan Arrivals in Asan... Total Overseas Arrival Cases in the Region Reach 32

View original image[Asia Economy (Asan) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] A man in his 30s who arrived from overseas in Asan, Chungnam, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Chungnam Province on the 31st, Mr. A, who entered the country from Uzbekistan the day before, was tested for COVID-19 at the Asan City Public Health Center on the same day and received a positive result.
Currently, Mr. A is asymptomatic and has been hospitalized at Cheonan Medical Center. The quarantine authorities are conducting additional epidemiological investigations on Mr. A.
However, since Mr. A was confirmed positive on the day of arrival and was in self-quarantine, it has been confirmed that there are no close contacts.
Meanwhile, as of 9 a.m. on the 31st, the total number of overseas arrivals confirmed with COVID-19 in Chungnam is 32.
