The projects proposed as cooperative governance agendas for 2021 include 14 in total: resource circulation at Hongjecheon Waterfall Park, support for independent living of young adults with developmental disabilities, community networking for fathers, creation of the third Shin-gi-han Playground, and community meals.
These projects were selected through online public submissions, discussions by the Seodaemun Cooperative Governance Meeting subcommittees (economic industry, education and culture, climate environment, health and welfare, childcare, institutional administration), and public-private deliberations.
During the real-time online public forum, each proposer will present their agenda for the coming year. By searching "Seodaemun-gu Office YouTube" on the YouTube site, viewers can watch the live broadcast and leave comments in real time.
The final priority will be determined through an online M-Voting poll. Anyone who is a resident of Seodaemun-gu or attends school or works within Seodaemun-gu can participate.
Those interested can access the 'M-Voting' site via the internet or smartphone and vote after phone number verification by 6 p.m. on the 3rd of next month.
Voters are asked to select five out of the 14 projects, and detailed information on each project can be viewed through 'card news.' A lottery will be held among voters to award small prizes.
The district will reflect the priority voting results in Seoul City's "Community Innovation Plan" and will work with residents to implement the projects within a budget of approximately 1 billion KRW starting next year.
The entire process from project discovery, decision-making, execution, to evaluation will be conducted through a public-private cooperative governance method involving residents.
