[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] A Taekwondo instructor in Busan has been reported for abusing a 12-year-old student by hitting him with a wooden stick, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
On the 23rd, the Dongbu Police Station in Busan announced that they received a complaint from the family of A (12) against instructor B and plan to investigate on charges of child abuse.
According to the police, A's family claims that instructor B forced A to lie face down and repeatedly threatened him by waving a wooden stick before striking his buttocks once.
Additionally, B reportedly broke the wooden stick in front of nine of A's peers and verbally abused him with insults such as "human XXX."

After hearing this from A, the family visited the dojang to protest and decided to file a complaint after viewing the assault and intimidation recorded on CCTV.
