[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Convenience store seasonal cooked noodles are popular in the hot weather.
According to convenience store 7-Eleven on the 21st, total cooked noodle sales this month increased by 116.0% compared to the previous year. In particular, ‘Bibim Makguksu’ and ‘Yeolmu Bibim Guksu,’ launched to target the summer season demand, ranked first and second in the cooked noodle category sales.
Yeolmu Bibim Guksu is a product that combines chewy noodles with crunchy yeolmu kimchi and a spicy-sweet bibim sauce, while Bibim Makguksu is a product made with chewy buckwheat noodles mixed with a spicy special bibim sauce, sesame oil, and seaweed flakes.
