Lotte Construction Implements Flexible Dress Code for Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Lotte Construction announced on the 15th that it will implement a dress code autonomy policy for all employees.
Lotte Construction had previously designated every Friday as a "Casual Day," allowing employees to come to work in casual attire. However, following Lotte Holdings' recent decision to adopt dress code autonomy, the company has decided to implement this new policy. This move is based on the judgment that it will enhance work efficiency and create a more flexible working environment.
From now on, all employees of Lotte Construction can freely wear casual clothing (such as round-neck T-shirts, jeans, sneakers), business casual, or business formal attire as their work clothes. Employees are encouraged to autonomously choose comfortable attire considering their individual job characteristics, work situations, and locations.
A Lotte Construction official stated, "We decided to allow dress code autonomy to move away from a formal and rigid atmosphere and create a freer and more comfortable working environment," adding, "We expect this policy to improve employees' work efficiency and satisfaction."
