Gwangyang City Signs Business Agreement with Intermediate Support Organization to Establish Gwangyang as a Cultural City
Mutual Cooperation Among Six Centers Including the Urban Regeneration Support Center and Village Community Support Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City Cultural City Project Group announced on the 14th that it signed a business agreement with the heads of six intermediary support organizations' centers to create a successful cultural city, Gwangyang.
The intermediary support organizations consist of six centers: the Cultural City Project Group, Urban Regeneration Support Center, Village Community Support Center, Social Economy Support Center, Haetsal Gwangyang Village Support Center, and Tour Dure.
Each center agreed to mutually cooperate in four areas: ▲discovering urban resources, developing content, and effectively utilizing spaces ▲discovering and nurturing sustainable citizen (resident) human resources ▲exchanging human and material resources for mutual organizational development ▲expanding networks to disseminate project outcomes.
The six centers participating in the agreement have been actively exchanging information through workshops and supporting projects, discovering joint projects, and researching integrated operation models since last year, and plan to expand collaboration with more intermediary support organizations in the future.
