Gyeonggi Startup Platform Expands Service from PC to Mobile
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is expanding the 'Gyeonggi Startup Platform,' which allows users to check all information about startups in real time in one place, from PC to smartphones.
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency announced that the mobile service of the 'Gyeonggi Startup Platform' started on the 13th. Previously, in November last year, the province officially launched the PC version of the 'Gyeonggi Startup Platform,' the first of its kind among local governments nationwide.
The newly opened mobile version of the Startup Platform was developed to enhance convenience and accessibility, considering the activity patterns of startup executives who frequently travel for business characteristics such as business trips, investment attraction, and market development.
The mobile version has the same functions as the PC version, providing integrated startup-related information such as startups, investment, expert advice, support projects, space facilities, events, and education. It also allows applications for various support projects and one-on-one exchanges between members.
In particular, leveraging the mobility and easy accessibility of mobile devices, it features location-based services that provide location information of nearby startup support facilities, directions, and user-customized information notification functions.
Startup stakeholders who wish to use the service can access it anytime and anywhere by searching for 'Gyeonggi Startup Platform (www.gsp.or.kr)' through a smartphone web browser.
Park Sang-deok, head of the Startup Support Division of the province, said, "With the development of this mobile version, it will be easy to check startup-related information anywhere using a smartphone, and applications for support projects can be made right at your fingertips. We expect this to greatly help startup activities that involve a lot of movement."
