This campaign is the second one following last year. Last year, activities included donating eco-bags to traditional markets to save energy and reduce the use of plastic bags.
On the morning of the same day, Sohn Tae-seung, Chairman of Woori Financial Group, along with Kwon Kwang-seok, President of Woori Bank, and Park Pil-jun, Chairman of the Woori Bank Labor Union, started the campaign by handing out organic snacks and tumblers produced by social enterprises to employees arriving at the head office lobby.
Woori Financial conducts "Woori Green Day" without disposable products every Wednesday. The use of disposable cups is restricted within the head office, and other affiliates and branches encourage the use of tumblers and mugs. Additionally, to promote resource recycling, used toys will be collected from employees and donated to the "Seoul Green Toy Library."
